Merry Christmas

Blogging has not been high on my priority list lately. I did want to wish everyone a blessed Christmas. This is indeed a bittersweet time for our family. I said in my last post that we are enjoying one another. That is true. It is also true that we really miss Emily. I was looking through the beautiful calendar that Juanita made for my mom this afternoon and was really moved by the lovely pictures of Emily.

Christ has come, however, and we celebrate His victory over sin and death. We can enjoy the day tomorrow - and we did enjoy the day today - because our Saviour has come.

Thanks to everyone who has commented on this blog and to the people from our church who read this blog. We really appreciate you.

God is good; all the time. I began my Christmas morning by praying for your family, asking that the God of all comfort would comfort you.

Our family started our Christmas morning with praying for your family. It is because of the humble birth of our Lord and Savior that we have the assurance of spending eternity with Him and seeing Emily and others again. As a family we could not help but smile about what a Christmas this is for Emily and Nan! May the Comforter be near to you today and into the New Year.

Terry & Family.. I did not want to bother you over the Holiday, but Please know, that my daughter & I did say a prayer for your family Christmas Day..I can only imagine, what your family has gone through. My heart breaks all over again, when I think of you. I now pray for you all to find peace in 2009. I hope that you are all doing well.
Just remember.. you thought Emily was an Angel, when you saw her for the first time.. Now she is truley the Angel you saw then.
